The winner of ten 2021 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Moulin Rouge! the musical, like the 2001 Baz Luhrmann's film, features a wide range of pop music hits (or snippets of them), including "Lady Marmalade," "Every Breath You Take," "Children of the Revolution," "Single Ladies," "Firework," "Your Song," "Sympathy for the Devil," "Up Where We Belong" and many others.

Boy George is heading to 1900s Paris! On Monday, Broadway's Moulin Rouge! The Musical announced that George, 62, will return to Broadway for a limited engagement as “Harold Zidler” at New York City's Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

The show about the goings-on in a turn-of-the-century Parisian nightclub has been updated with tunes like “Single Ladies” and “Firework” alongside the big hit “Lady Marmalade.” It won 10 Tony Awards in 2021, including best new musical.
