About The Event
We Will Tour Wood-lawn ! More Than a Cemetery is one of the largest cemeteries in New York City and a designated National Historic Landmark. It has the character of a rural cemetery. Wood-lawn Cemetery opened during the Civil War in 1863. It is notable in part as the final resting place of some well known figures.
1st. Trolley tour of Cemetery of architecture, nature, and history. This will be combined w walking tour.
