October Rockefeller Preserve and Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Walking Tour

Join us for beautiful day Hiking and exploring History in the Hudson Valley Hiking Day.

First, We are off to Explore New Trails @ the Rockefeller State Park. 

Rockefeller State Park Preserve offers quiet countryside walk through forested hills and valleys surrounding sunlite pastoral fields. The trails of the Preserve are crushed stone carriage roads laid out by John D. Rockefeller Sr. and Jr. in the first half of the 20th century. Designed to complement the landscape, the scenic carriage roads are wide and easy to walk.

We have hired a Guide to navigate us along the 5 mi historical and scenic Hike. This hike will start at Visitor center and we will walk the Guided Hike w History and very peaceful stops.

2nd We will have guided walking tour through Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.  Whether you are a history buff, love sculpture, interesting cemetery symbolism, or just want to enjoy the pretty scenery, a visit to historic Sleepy Hollow Cemetery’s 90-acre grounds is a treat.

3rd. We will Take a Break in downtown where You can grab Tarrytown refreshments' -and some shopping on your own.
